I have just downloaded GIS ObjectLand application and started to evaluate it. I am very glad to note that it focuses on creating a spatial database (and nor in writing another GIS file). Nice job, guys!!!

By the way, is there a GIS ObjectLand Object Model Diagram that makes easy to understand and work with its classes and interfaces?.

Thank you very much.

Thanks for compliments :)

Please select "Custom" installation type (or complete installation)and check "Documents" component. As result "ObjectLand COM Interfaces" .chm file will be available via ObjectLand program folder. This document describes ObjectLand Object Model Diagram and its classes and interfaces.

As announce: In next week we will place a big application on the site (written on VisualBasic 6 and VisualBasic NET with full source codes) that demonstrates using COM interfaces. This application is a clone of ObjectLand GUI (without data editing) and users can use these sources as skeleton for own applications or for learning ObjectLand's program kernel.
Besides there are demo samples of using ObjectLand COM Interfaces:

Thanks for your support.

When do you estimate the announced ObjectLand VB application will be available?

It´s great to see that your announcement regarding source code posting was fulfilled today!!!

While attempting to compile ObjectLandExplorer.vbp I got the message "User-defined type not defined" and this line -in the StyleUTils.bas module- was highlighted:

Public Sub GetObjectStyle(ByVal objGDBObject,_ ByVal ...., ....., ......, ......... )

Could you please advise how to fix the error?

Thank you very much.

We will examine this on Monday.

Preliminary question: what version you used, VB6 or VB.NET?

I am using VB6.

Did you install the ObjectLand 2.6.3?
If not, then this is the reason of compiling error.

Draw attention to prerequisite condition on page "For Developer":
Prerequisite: Installed ObjectLand 2.6.3 with “ObjectLand COM interfaces” component.

Yes, I did install it.

In fact, I was run many of the VB ObjectLand samples which are good examples of customization.

I have just realized that I have installed 2.6.2 version not 2.6.3 as you advised. Surely, it will work now. Thanks for your support.
